hi,
i just found your show, yesterday. i listened to the first podcast and will listen to the second one, today.
i haven't seen any of the old zatoichi shows but i have seen the takeshi version and the movie the original guy made and directed (long after the tv series).
i would like to recommend a few movies for upcoming shows: Twighlight Samurai, The Hidden Blade, Mibu Gichi Den, Ame Agaru. more lightheartedly are Azumi 1 and 2, and Shinobi. Also, Samurai Fiction and Aka kage.
These films are all recent.
I look forward to listening to more of your shows and perhaps participating in the future!
Jory
p.s. I hated the hidden fortress!
